How to connect your Binance account to Stax
VerifiedSpot, margin and all three futures flavours land in one journal as they fill, and every one of them is signed by Stax on arrival — which is what a verified trade card proves to whoever you show it to. Read-only access is all Stax asks for — it reads your fill history and can never place an order.
-
Log in and open Account → API Management.
-
Create a new key.
-
Under API restrictions, switch on only what you actually trade:
Enable Reading — always · Enable Futures — USDT-M, USDC-M, COIN-M · Enable Spot & Margin Trading — spot and margin
-
Leave withdrawals off. Copy the API Key and Secret Key — Binance shows the secret once.
-
In the left sidebar, open Connections.
-
Click Add Connection.
-
In Select Connection, search for Binance and click it. Three cards open: Auto-Sync, Import CSV File and Add Manually.
-
Choose the Auto-Sync card.
-
Paste the API Key and Secret Key, then click Connect.
How to import Binance trades into Stax from a file
For history from before you connected, or if you would rather not paste a key at all. Stax has a column mapper for exactly this: point each column at the field it means, once, and the layout is remembered.
-
Export your trade history as a .csv — the export lives with your order or transaction history, depending on which market you traded.
-
In the left sidebar, open Connections.
-
Click Add Connection, then pick Binance.
-
Of the three cards, choose Import CSV File.
-
Click Choose File and select your .csv.
-
Match each column to its Stax field — symbol, side, quantity, price, time. Stax remembers the mapping, so the next file goes straight through.
-
Check the matched trades in the preview, then confirm the import.
