How to connect your cTrader account to Stax
VerifiedThe shortest setup of any broker here: no keys, no tokens, nothing to copy. You approve Stax on cTrader's own page and your trades start arriving — signed, so they carry the verified badge. Stax never sees your password and can never place an order.
-
In the left sidebar, open Connections.
-
Click Add Connection.
-
In Select Connection, search for cTrader and click it. Three cards open: Auto-Sync, Import CSV File and Add Manually.
-
Choose the Auto-Sync card.
-
Click Connect cTrader. Your browser opens cTrader's authorise page.
-
Sign in with your cTrader ID and pick which trading accounts to share. Demo, live or both — each one becomes its own sheet in Stax.
-
Approve, and the browser hands you back to Stax with the connection live.
How to import cTrader trades into Stax from a file
For history from before you connected, or for an account you would rather not link. cTrader's statement button is worth reading carefully — it says HTML but what you save is a CSV.
-
Open cTrader — web or desktop — and find the History tab at the bottom.
-
Right-click the column headers and make sure all columns are ticked. Do the same on the Positions tab.
-
Back on History, choose All History (or a custom range) and leave All Directions selected.
-
Click the green Statement button. It is labelled Save as HTML, but cTrader opens the report in a new tab — press Save there and it downloads as a CSV.
-
In the left sidebar, open Connections.
-
Click Add Connection, then pick cTrader.
-
Of the three cards, choose Import CSV File.
-
Click Choose File and select your .csv. Stax knows the cTrader layout, so there is nothing to map.
-
Check the matched trades in the preview, then confirm the import.
