How to connect your Rithmic account to Stax

Stax keeps the Rithmic session open for you, so every fill lands in your journal the moment it happens — nothing to export, nothing to type in. Trades that arrive this way are signed by Stax on the server, and that signature is what earns them the verified badge.

In R | Trader Pro — first time only

Open R | Trader Pro and click through any pending agreements. Rithmic blocks API access until they are signed.

In Stax

In the left sidebar, open Connections.
Click Add Connection.
In Select Connection, search for Rithmic R Trader and click it. Three cards open: Auto-Sync, Import CSV File and Add Manually.
Choose the Auto-Sync card.
Pick your broker or prop firm in the System dropdown — Apex, TopstepX, Rithmic 01 and the rest. Hit the refresh icon if the list looks stale.
Enter the Username and Password you use for R | Trader, then click Connect. FCM ID and IB ID under Advanced are only needed if your broker told you to set them.

How to import Rithmic trades into Stax from a file

The route for history from before you connected, or if you would rather not hand over your login at all. Export the day out of R | Trader and drop the file into Stax — the trades land in the same journal, they simply are not signed.

In R | Trader

Open File → Orders History.
Pick your account and one day. Rithmic exports one day at a time, so you may end up with several files.
In Completed Orders, right-click the column headings and choose Add/Remove columns. Include:

Account · Status · Remarks · Buy/Sell · Qty To Fill · Symbol · Qty Filled · Avg Fill Price · Limit Price · Order Number · Create Time · Update Time · Commission
Choose Export to CSV.

In Stax

In the left sidebar, open Connections.
Click Add Connection, then pick Rithmic R Trader.
Of the three cards, choose Import CSV File.
Click Choose File and select your .csv. Stax maps the Rithmic columns for you.
Check the matched trades in the preview, then confirm the import.
