How to import TradeStation trades into Stax from a file
TradeStation's tax export is the cleanest history it offers — it already has the broken and cancelled orders filtered out. It covers stocks and options, and it hands you six months at a time, so a full year means two files.
-
Open TradeStation's web client center.
-
In the header open Accounts, then Equities Accounts in the left panel.
-
Under your account, open Tax Center.
-
Choose Download Tax Activity → Microsoft Excel CSV.
-
Pick a date range, tick Exclude Broken/Canceled Trades, then click Download.
-
In the left sidebar, open Connections.
-
Click Add Connection, then pick TradeStation.
-
Of the three cards, choose Import CSV File.
-
Click Choose File and select your .csv. Stax knows the TradeStation layout, so there is nothing to map.
-
Check the matched trades in the preview, then confirm the import.
