How to connect your FTMO account to Stax
VerifiedFTMO accounts run on cTrader or on MetaTrader, and Stax connects through whichever one yours uses — so the setup is the platform's, not FTMO's. Check the platform your challenge or funded account was issued on, then follow that route.
-
In the left sidebar open Connections, click Add Connection and pick cTrader.
-
Choose Auto-Sync and click Connect cTrader. Sign in with your cTrader ID and share the FTMO account. Fills arrive from then on, signed by Stax. Full cTrader steps.
-
Open Connections → Add Connection and pick MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, matching your account.
-
Choose Auto-Sync and follow the setup — Stax hands you a small file to drop into the terminal, and every deal you close after that is sent across. Full steps for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.
How to import FTMO trades into Stax from a file
FTMO keeps its own journal in the Client Area, and that export is the shortest route into Stax — no terminal, no platform, one file for the whole account.
-
Log in and open Accounts Overview in the left panel.
-
Under the account you want, click MetriX.
-
Scroll down to Trading Journal.
-
Click the blue Export button and choose CSV.
-
In the left sidebar, open Connections.
-
Click Add Connection, then pick FTMO.
-
Of the three cards, choose Import CSV File.
-
Click Choose File and select your .csv. Stax knows the FTMO layout, so there is nothing to map.
-
Confirm the timezone in the panel — FTMO writes account-local wall-clock with no zone marker.
-
Check the matched trades in the preview, then confirm the import.
